About the Project

Interaction Analysis for Social Media Engagement Optimization (Linkedin)

Overview:

The aim of this was to perform a comprehensive interaction analysis of the past year's social media posts on LinkedIn so that I could categorize them by engagement levels and identify the factors that resonate most with the audience.

This insight was geared towards refining our content strategy and to enhance audience interaction and engagement.

Findings

Engagement Insights:

  • Identified that posts with authentic messages and clear value alignment had the highest interactions, signalling the importance of brand authenticity in content creation.

  • Visual posts, particularly those featuring original graphics and infographics, significantly outperformed other post types, drawing in more engagements and fostering viewer retention.

Influencer Impact:

  • Highlighting the role of influential engagements, such as likes and comments from high-profile individuals like Eric Sim or Antonio Guilino (K2 CEO), which amplified reach and interaction.

Impact

Strategic Implementations:

Based on the analysis, recommended a content strategy pivot towards more authentic and visually engaging posts. Implemented a more rigorous engagement strategy with industry thought leaders to boost visibility and credibility.

Performance Improvements:

Post-implementation, observed a measurable increase in overall engagement rates, with a significant uptick in interactions per post, particularly those aligning with the identified high-performing criteria.
