SR Group Newsletter

 

I was requested to create a new email newsletter template for two of our brands:

• Frazer Jones – our HR recruitment brand. https://www.frazerjones.com/

• Taylor Root – our legal, risk and compliance recruitment brand. https://www.frazerjones.com/

A couple of concepts for both brands

Taking into account that Frazer Jones already has one that.

Please also try to stick to these rules to make it easy to build:
• Email safe fonts
• 700px wide
• No background images under text
• 1 or 2 column design
• Buttons to have a solid background colour.

The specifications where as following:
• Header
• Short intro paragraph
• Headline article
• 3 Xs additional articles
• 3 Xs job listings
• Contact details of a few consultants
• Footer

On a project like this I like to start with a clear mind and putting words down on paper

When starting a creative project I tend to research places like:

  • Pinterest

  • Behance

  • Dribble

  • and other design inspiration sites

As well as a quick sketch of what is requested in order to start building a mental idea of the path I wanna follow

Moving on to Illustrator I have created 2 Newsletters drafts

A more serious approach was taken for this

and a more modern design look was on focus here.
